Biggest challenge? Remodelling our machines for a new line of products! Get to know Dušan from Mondi Paracin.
My name is Dušan R. Milosavljević and I work as a Bottomer machine operator in Mondi Sabac PJ Paracin. I joined Mondi in 2013 and started as a Tuber helper. Throughout the time I was able to change my role, work on different machines and get to understand different production steps. Right now I am responsible for our Bottomer machine and making sure that everything runs smoothly.
I came across Mondi …
after returning from college, which I actually did not finish. I started looking for a job and heard from a friend about Mondi. It has been 10 years since then and I am happy to be part of this team.
What I like most about Mondi is …
the work environment and the team I work with the most. We have been working together for a long time and know each other very well. This creates a nice atmosphere at work.
When joining Mondi, I would have never thought that …
when I started working at Mondi, I didn't even think I could develop into different roles, but I studied from year to year, gained more experience and took over more responsibilities.
What I like most about my job …
in my current position, I like the opportunity to influence the final product, the responsibility for the quality of the final product and the fact that through various challenges I can improve myself and share experiences with my colleagues so that we all learn together.
If my family asks me what my job is about, I explain…
that we turn a semi-finished product into a final product, a mailer bag, by adjusting the machine accordingly. In addition, I repair and maintain the machine, as well as take care of a safe workplace.
My greatest challenge so far has been …
definitely switching our production and remodelling the machines for producing mailer bags. After more than a year, every day we have new challenges in our production.
The best advice I ever got was …
not to rush and think about everything before making a decision. Every problem should be viewed from as many angles as possible.
My future career path leads me to …
I hope to continue to make progress in terms of my knowledge, which I believe will open up new possibilities.
