a job advertisement online. I came to Mondi Ansbach when I was in my third year of training so I started as an apprentice.
What I like most about Mondi is...
that we have a young team in maintenance, which is really great! At the same time, we also have very experienced co-workers, who have a lot of experience at the plant. We learn a lot from each other.
When I joined Mondi, I would have never thought that...
the apprentices are already allowed to work on the machines during their training, because I knew it differently from my previous employer. At Mondi I got involved right from the start and because of that, I learnt very quickly.
What I like most about my job is...
that new tasks are constantly being added. You have a wide range of tasks that you can do, so you acquire a lot of new knowledge. I also find it very exciting to plan and carry out new installations.
When my family asks me what my job is about, I explain...
that I maintain machines, i.e. I have to check whether they are still set correctly and whether safety-relevant measures of this machine also work properly. Furthermore, I take care of the electrical maintenance and new installations from sockets to machines.
My future career path leads me to...
becoming an expert in my field. I will be starting my “Meister”, as we call it in German, soon.
