About Mondi Bupak
Mondi Bupak is located in České Budějovice – the heart of South Bohemia, 150km south of Prague and 200 km northwest of Vienna. The plant currently employs about 220 people. We produce corrugated cardboard which is then turned into corrugated packaging solutions in our integrated production facility. Our special focus is on the production of high-quality corrugated boxes used in our main market segment of eCommerce. Through the consistent implementation of an innovative corporate strategy and extensive investment in recent years, Mondi Bupak has strengthened its position as one of the leading manufacturers of corrugated packaging in the Czech Republic.

Our logistics offer can handle all requests and requirements, from daily delivery to consignment stock.

Awards
Mondi Bupak has received numerous awards and prizes for its products from customers and independent jurors. In recent years, the company has won several awards in the Obal Roku competition and in the international WorldStar packaging competition. Bupak is also a socially responsible company, for which it received the Award of the President of the South Bohemian Region in 2019.

In March 2020 a new corrugator from German company BHS was installed in Mondi Bupak. This machine is currently the best available corrugator on the market. Our packaging has a wide spectrum of uses – mostly for bulk packaging of products in practically all sectors of the manufacturing industry such as eCommerce packaging, electrical appliance packaging, fruit, vegetable and yoghurt crates, or in fast food packaging such as for pizza and burgers. Not only does Mondi Bupak have the fastest corrugator, our packaging production machine is the fastest in the European Union and the third fastest in the world.
History and tradition
Since 1880, we've crafted paper, straw cardboard, and tissue from rye and wheat straw. In 1906, corrugated cardboard emerged. The workforce grew from 40-55 to 110-140. Rail connection in 1920 was pivotal. 1962-1967 saw plant transformation—new machinery, workshops, admin building, wastewater facility. Post-1989, Austrian Duropack Group integration. 2012, Mondi Group took over. Now, we excel in the Czech Republic's corrugated cardboard and packaging industry.
