Your mission:

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our mill operations, with a focus on leading and coordinating various quality-related functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, managing customer relations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our product quality.

  • Oversee and maintain ISO Quality certification processes
  • Provide leadership to the lab supervisor to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Lead product quality and development initiatives, including providing technical customer service support to address client needs and ensure satisfaction
  • Lead the process engineering department, providing guidance and support to the team
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve cost and efficiency

Your profile:

  • Preferably 10 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, with a proven track record in a leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering designation or eligibility
  • Knowledge of ISO Quality standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and drive continuous improvement initiatives
