Role Summary:

The Senior Talent & Performance Manager (f/m/x) focuses on leading the strategic design, development and implementation of programs that will enhance our Group People strategy and drive our People transformation roadmap. Actively support talent development at all levels of the organisation and is a strong partner to the Head of Talent & D&I. This role is instrumental in ensuring that Mondi Group attracts, develops and retains great diverse talent by ensuring consistent and effective delivery and enablement of our Talent & Performance processes.

Your mission:

  • Thought leadership: Shape the strategic talent and performance landscape and subsequent transformation roadmap at Mondi leveraging the latest trends and best practices in talent, performance and skill building. 
  • Talent Management: Design, continuously improve and deliver talent tools, frameworks and platforms which will enable all Business Units and global functions to achieve their talent and succession goals in line with company-wide strategy.
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with Mondi Group Reward team and key stakeholders across the business to design and drive a fresh approach to the performance management cycle to support effective feedback and performance reviews. Work closely with Digital HR & IT, leveraging their expertise on talent & performance management systems. Ensure performance management consistency, from goal setting and feedback to development planning, offering expert guidance on performance standards and reviews throughout.
  • Leadership Attributes: Collaborate with a global Talent Network to ensure that a refreshed focus on leadership is embedded in all our Talent and Performance processes.
  • Insights and key metrics: Build and manage key employee metrics that impact our talent bench strength. Manage performance management dashboards as well as analysis and reports on the performance management process governance with key stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Partner with Learning, Mondi Academy and internal talent stakeholders to ensure that all employees are developed to meet the needs of their current and future roles, and that career paths and competencies for leaders and experts are implemented and leveraged across the business consistently.
  • Best practice sharing: Interface with global HR and business colleagues to coordinate policy and share best practice.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Organisational Development, Business, or related field. 
  • 10+ years in talent and performance management or a similar role with an emphasis on design and delivery. HR Business Partner experience is a plus.
  • Strong conceptual understanding required.
  • Ability to work in changing environments and handle ambiguity. Agile work practices.
  • Strong presentation skills and facilitation experience, needed to effectively deliver a variety of Talent and Performance related training programmes to groups of leaders and experts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and team-oriented culture. 
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organisational and change agent skills. 
  • Sound knowledge of union/employee relations.
