Mondi invites you to apply for our Senior Process Controller in Training (SPCIT) Programme designed for
those looking to enhance their skills and career.
What is the purpose of the SPCIT Programme?
The SPCIT Programme focuses on building toward our future skills needs through training and
development, aiming for continuous improvement in our workforce. Upon successful completion of the
programme participants will be deemed competent as Senior Process Controllers.
What would you need to apply?
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with minimum 60% pass in Pure Maths and Science
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering and/or Pulp & Paper
- Valid South African driver’s license
Deliverables:
- Basic skills in SAP/Microsoft for accurate reporting
- Chemical safety knowledge
- Perform production tasks including pre-start checks, assistance with plant start up’s, plant shut down’s and monitoring of production process systems
- Routine checks to minimize failures
- Ensure safe operation according to Mondi policy and procedures
- Engage with the Production Manager on equipment performance issues
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Outcomes:
Post completion of the training programme you will acquire the necessary skills and abilities to perform:
- Process Monitoring and Optimization
- Safety Compliance and Quality Control
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Equipment Operation
- Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement
