Role Summary:
The Senior Leadership & Learning Management Manager is instrumental in driving strategic development and execution of leadership development programs (though our Mondi Academy) and broader learning initiatives to build internal talent and leadership pipelines aligned with organizational goals. This role will enhance our Group People strategy and drive our People transformation roadmap as part of the Talent & D&I team. It actively supports talent development at all levels of the organisation and is a strong partner to the Head of Talent & D&I.
Your Mission & Responsibilities:
- Shaping the strategic learning and leadership landscape at Mondi, leveraging the latest trends and best practices in learning, leadership and skill & capability building
- Designing and delivering leadership development programs for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders enabling all Business Units and Global functions to achieve their talent and succession goals in line with company-wide strategy
- Collaborating with a global Talent Network to ensure that a refreshed focus on leadership is embedded in all our Learning, Talent and Performance processes
- Collaborating with senior business leaders to identify future leadership needs and skill gaps
- Driving high-impact initiatives like standardised coaching approach and global mentoring programs.
- Aligning leadership training with Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) objectives
- Monitoring and assessing program effectiveness through key metrics (e.g. NPS) and talent and succession outcomes, insights with key stakeholders
- Strategically aligning our global learning technologies to ensure consistency of use and rollouts/upgrades where needed in collaboration with stakeholders
- Interfacing with global HR and business colleagues to coordinate learning policy and share best practice
- Leadership of Mondi Academy (2.0 refresh) to streamline our learning globally with the 70/20/10 approach, ensuring a learning culture is in place that supports developing all employees to meet the needs of their current and future roles, and that career paths and competencies for leaders and experts are implemented and leveraged across the business consistently
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Organisational Development, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in learning and leadership development roles with increasing responsibility, including at least 5 years leading a learning and development function
- Experience in leading learning experts
- Experience working in an HR leadership role in publicly listed company (PLC) ideally London-listed
- Conceptually strong
- Expertise in Learning management systems
- Ability to work in changing environments and handle ambiguity. Agile work practices.
- Strong presentation skills and facilitation experience, needed to effectively deliver a variety of learning and leadership programs to groups of leaders and experts
- Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and team-oriented culture
- Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change agent skills
- Sound knowledge of union/employee relations
