Regional Safety, Health and Environment Manager (f/m/x)

Your mission:

• Provide overall support and align plant Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) related activities to ensure compliance with local legislative requirements, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards and Mondi corporate safety, health, and environmental rules & requirements at regional and business segment level.
• Visit each plant regularly, at least 1x per quarter (status visit, incident investigation, engagement board coaching etc.).
• Organize and/or contribute to different meetings with the managing directors and the SHE community.
• Provide status reports to management as required, support incident reporting and investigation as well as prepare quarterly visit reports. 
• Support in SHE activities if needed on different topics such as quality safety improvement plans, facilitating and coaching use of the engagement board, Risk assessments according to Mondi standards, CBUM implementation (Incl. ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Standards), etc.

Your profile:

• Safety specialist education, NEBOSH, other minimum requirements depending on local legislation.
• Sound understanding of local legislations, health and safety regulations, production processes, and quality standards within a manufacturing environment. 
• 7+ years of working experience as SHE specialist or Safety expert, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge about Social Psychology of Risk and use of the Engagement board.
• Effective & transparent communication and relationship-building skills, with fluency in English (any additional language Italian, German, French, Dutch, etc.) is considered an asset.
• Hands-on personality, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving business environments, dynamic requirements, and people.
• Willingness to travel globally on a regular basis at least 50% of the time.
