Your mission

  • To provide and deliver occupational health and wellness programs, services and support employees and contractor employees located in the Midlands Forests Region.
  • Co-ordinate Business Unit (BU) Occupational Health Programme – a legal requirement
  • Co-ordinate BU Primary Health Care Programme with mobile clinic
  • Manage Chronic Diseases and all related wellness matters
  • Co-ordinate BU Ergonomic Risk Assessments
  • Monitor compliance with health-related legislation and Mondi standards
  • Monitor and analyse health trends and reporting on health campaigns and Peer programs
  • Manage IOD’s at the time of the incident and during rehabilitation
  • Conduct Occupational Health audits on occupational health service providers and contractors
  • Conduct Hygiene Surveys and Forestry related audits
  • Co-ordinate specific Wellness Programmes to support the business

Your profile

  • Post graduate Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health Nursing registered with SANC
  • Desirable: Basic Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support, and International Trauma Life Support Training
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Occupational Health Professional Body (SASOHN) membership
  • CFP Professional OHP Indemnity
  • Possess the ability to network and foster relationships with internal and externally stakeholders
  • Manage emergencies and have high levels of work flexibility on demand
  • Computer literacy (MS Office Package) is essential
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and outside of normal office hours
  • Good  Interpersonal, Communication and Organizational skills
  • Code EB Driver’s License
