Your mission:

The Marketing Manager Central Europe (f/m/x) will be responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies to enhance brand presence, drive customer engagement, and support sales growth within the corrugated packaging sector. This role will require a deep understanding of the packaging industry, along with expertise in marketing and brand management to effectively engage stakeholders and customers.

(This position will report to Sales Director Central Europe)

  • Lead the planning and execution of product marketing activities to differentiate Mondi in the packaging industry.  
  • Conceptualize and implement targeted marketing initiatives aligned with our strategic and commercial objectives, designed to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales growth across multiple channels. 
  • Lead the planning and execution of product marketing activities to differentiate Mondi in the packaging industry.  
  • Support commercial colleagues with effective tools, campaigns, and materials that enhance customer interactions—both in the field and at our ThinkBox customer engagement centers—driving conversions and ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives. 
  • Oversee and execute key marketing initiatives, including trade fairs, customer events, and webinars, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure impactful delivery. 
  • Oversee partnerships with marketing agencies and external suppliers, ensuring the efficient allocation of the marketing budget to maximize business impact and deliver effective outcomes. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts align with product development, sales, and customer service teams.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to marketing team members.
  • Conceptualize and implement targeted marketing initiatives aligned with our strategic and commercial objectives, designed to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales growth across multiple channels. 

Your profile:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a marketing role; experience in a B2B industry is preferred. 
  • Education: A university degree in marketing or similar field; any experiences in sales, product management, communications, or business administration is a plus. 
  • Marketing expertise: Experience in developing and executing marketing activities, with a focus on digital tools and product positioning. 
  • Project management skills: Strong project and budget management and organisational abilities. 
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and developing creative campaigns that align with business objectives, ensuring high customer engagement. 
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging marketing assets. 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation, especially with colleagues in local plants and those working in our corporate offices. 
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn) and content management tools such as HubSpot and Scompler. 
  • A genuine interest in sustainability and the ability to communicate related topics in an accessible and compelling way. 
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English.
  • Willigness to travel within the region.
