Your mission
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through compliance with legal regulations and mill procedure (e.g., OHS Act, ISO systems)
- Support the planning department to comply in all respects with the relevant regulations by implementing the necessary control measures
- Management of individual development plan
- Planning team performance management as per KPIs
- Input to training and development matrix for the department
- Coach, mentor and train junior planners
- Shutdown and day to day maintenance planning leadership
- Development and maintain Mill High Level and Detail Level schedules on Primavera and or MS Projects
- Compile progress tracking reports and flag schedule risks and identify mitigation plans for planning and scheduling risks to management
- Assist in developing planning and scheduling principles and guidelines
- Ensure standard planning and scheduling methodology is followed across the Mill
- Involvement with critical work scoping, planning and scheduling
- Involvement with Work Execution review, e.g. job cards quality of data, e.g. hrs., history, to improve the system
- Shut readiness e.g. Work pack readiness, contents including quality control plans, spares, risks etc.
- Stand-in for the dept manager
Your profile
- National Diploma in Engineering or related equivalent qualification
- MDP or relevant management qualifications would be considered advantages
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or a related role
- 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or people management position
- Proven experience in shutdown planning and scheduling, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience in SAP as a CMMS platform
- Experience in scheduling via Primavera and / or MS Projects
