Your mission:

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, the Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our production processes by conducting tests and analyses on raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.

  • Pulp quality testing
  • Chip testing
  • Water treatment relief duties as required

Your profile:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Grade 12 completion or GED
  • Successful completion of a two-year diploma in a Technology Program with major emphasis on chemical and/or environmental analysis from a recognized Technical Insitutue; or
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science from a recognized University
  • Proven experience with environmental or chemical laboratory work
  • Class 5 Driver's license
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computerized systems
  • Proactive, detail-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
