Your mission:

  • Manage and coordinate the MSA Forestry Fibre Balance 
  • Manage the annual budget quarterly reviews and monthly Flash timeframes within Fibre Supply
  • Manage the fibre demand and supply into all Mondi markets 
  • Manage the minimum certification Forestry Steward Certification (FSC) and Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Chain of Custody and applicable regulatory targets as required (e.g. EUDR)
  • Ensure that logistics and supply chain balancing, forecasting, replenishment planning, and operations coordination is carried out with stakeholders within fibre balance timeframes
  • Manage the rail transport operations including maintaining relations with stakeholders
  • Ensure ongoing internal and external stakeholder liaison and engagements across markets, timber suppliers and logistics service providers
  • Ensure all fibre supply activities are carried out in compliance with Mondi Corporate Governance principles
  • Ensure effective development and management of people to meet business and personal development targets 

Your profile:

  • Degree in Forestry or Logistics or Supply chain (NQF 7)
  • Minimum 5 years in a Foresty supply chain and logistics environment
  • Forestry experience will be essential
  • Valid South African Driver’s License
