Energy Excellence / Technical Risk Management Summer Intern (f/m/x)

Your mission: 
As a Summer Intern, you'll be an integral part of our team, supporting us in our goal to achieve continuous improvement in energy performance: 

• You will assist in projects aimed at enhancing energy efficiency using a systematic approach.
• Collaborate with experts within the organisation to identify and prioritise opportunities for improving Mondi’s energy management.
• Help optimise energy usage across multiple Business Units (BUs) and contribute to the creation of energy roadmaps.
• Provide support in collecting and communicating insights regarding energy optimisation.

In addition, you will spent half of your time supporting the Group’s Risk Management Team:

• Support in the roll out of the Group Risk Management Framework and its follow-up.
• Optimisation of the online Risk Management System accessible for about 100 production sites.
• Provide support in drafting a new Risk Rating System for Mondi sites.
• Gap Analysis of internal Risk Management Standards.

Your profile: 

• A demonstrated interest in energy management, sustainability and in risk management.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field, or possesses an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A strong passion for working within a complex, multinational environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.

• Location: Group office Vienna, Marxergasse 4a, 1030 Vienna 
• Duration: limited to 3 months
• Extent: full-time, 38 hours 
• We offer a compensation package starting at € 1.820 gross/month on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills and qualification.
