Your mission:

  • Research and identify potential end-markets and applications for existing and innovative new products for our Kraft Paper portfolio
  • Analyze and develop value pools in new end-markets based on our high performing base paper grades from white spot to first sustainable business 
  • Analyze market and growth potentials in close alignment with segment customer facing teams and the Growth & Sustainability team 
  • Drive the process of composing a comprehensive go to market strategy together with involved Mondi business segments (incl. CAPEX plan and payback scenarios) 
  • Closely cooperate with Product Portfolio Management during business case calculation 
  • Drive projects to realize sustainable growth (beyond market growth rates) together with the involved business segment resources (e g project management, operations, sales, etc. and the assigned central team members 
  • Establish first customer relations in growth area, develop and establish reference customers in close cooperation with segment sales force 
  • Hand over business to segment sales force once business has reached a sustainable level for specific projects run on a business unit level 
  • Provide inputs to the Sustainability Customer Solutions team for new products and/or modification of existing products based on identified needs from the market 

Your Profile:

  • 8+ years of technical and/or commercial experience in manufacturing, working with customers is a must 
  • Experience in Paper production and converting is big plus 
  • Experience in Packaging or technical papers, consumer and/or industrial packaging or other packaging is beneficial 
  • Excellent command of English is a must, German or any other language proficiency a plus 
  • Willingness to travelling up to 50% 
  • As an entrepreneurial minded expert, you enjoy interacting with a large variety of stakeholders, are curious, enjoy learning from others and can handle ambiguity 
  • A  hands-on mind-set is a must 
  • Strong ability to structure complex multiyear plans and keeping the bigger picture in sight 
  • Excellent interpersonal and people skills considering a matrix setup 
  • Strong commercial acumen enabling a quick realization of opportunities 
  • Excellent communication being able to navigate on different levels of management internally as well as with customers 
  • Act as a team player as well as (informal) team leader depending on demands 

Our offer:

  • Start: immediate start date possible, considering your availability (e.g. notice period) 
  • Location: flexible and home office based 
  • Duration: unlimited contract 
  • Extent: full-time, 38 hours/week, all-in contract 
  • We offer a minimum compensation package starting at € 70,000 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills and qualification.
